well my budget is 800quid no more i also want to include a set of t6100 creative speakers and screen has to be a decent 24", and it has to be a quad.

Have you tried looking at Scan? They are normally good for prices.

I take it you also want a Intel PC not AMD??

Im trying to find you cheaper parts so as im finding them ill update you on it all

you sure you need 1TB? you must have a LOT of data, an alternative: ebuyer.com/pro…826

Spec looks ok , prices seem quite reasonable(ish) too. The only major problem is your choice of power supply, if your spending that much on a decent machine you may as well spend a little extra and get a good psu to go with it. I've got a corsair HX620, i'd highly recommend it!

Just out of interest, what OS('s) do you plan installing on it?

I would get a better Mobo and PSU.
A cheap PSU may blow up and burn out some other parts and the mobo could die on you within a few months.

If you go for the original spec I'd definitely upgrade to budget to £850, spend £15 extra on an 8800GT and £20 extra to get a good power supply. They're very worthwhile upgrades.

Hold on.. you'd rather make him spend £95 for a 8800Gt, Id go for the 4850 @£108 @ebuyer!!!
    ebuyer.com/pro…527

even without that I think the 3870 is a better bet than the 8800Gt!! specially if he'll be using it at 1080p resolution on a 24" screen!!

My mate just bought a high-end PC from these guys cos he couldn't be assed buliding it :

Supposedly it's a really popular site with gamers at the mo.

Use the Configurator in the top left corner to put in your spec to see how much it comes out at !
