My stopcock in the flat is a bit rusty and can't move it and the main outside doesn't close the water completely, it slows it down but the water still flows. My toilet pipe is leaking on the insulation valve. I'm planning to take off that insulation valve and replace it with a speedfit one ( the one you just push on the pipe). is this a normal procedure, i mean can I make any damage in the process between taking off the existing one and putting the new one? Thanks
