I recently set up my wifi and want to start battling against other people

therefore is anyone up for a tournament/competition where battles can be scheduled for a specific time

Nothing too serious, just so that people can battle at a certain time as i cant think of another way to do it

if anyone is interested post your interest and then friend codes can be exchanged and times arranged for battling

im initially thinking next sunday 22nd july? But of course i understand not everyone can schedule a time so this is completely flexible

if some of you cant wait then we'll make it earlier!!

True they are not out over here but they are out in america and the ds is deigned by nintendo to be region free so imported games work no problem on the ds legally may i add and the game can easily be imported. Cd wow did it for 18 quid (cant remember the exact amount) at one stage

did anyone else on these forums import the game?

i thought id start this competiton thing as thought lots of people imported the game but i can wait until 27th july when the game comes out here

well lol --first of all i gotts get the game then i gotta spend at least a month training up my pokemon --- on my pokemon yellow i managed to train my pikachu up to level 83 with no rare candies but then saying that all my other pokemon were rubbish as i concentrated on him

Thats one of the hardest things to do to train all pokemon equally

just keep battling the elite four for points i suppose

on the original games my main guys (at least 10) were all at 90+ trained by myself with no cheats. I loved my team, however they unfortunatley got left behind when I stopped playing, I'm sure they are still on a catridge somewhere, just not sure where. Can you send old pokemon to the new games? Doubt it, but don't know.

dandoc is right only the gba games

u can trade pokemon from some games but in certain ways only using pal park

what version did u play?

My old guys were on the blue, red and yellow cartridges. To give you a clue how old, my red and blue were imported from USA before they came out in UK, so very old.

Didn't know the old catridges were battery run

That is quite old. I am afraid that you can transfer them you are gonna have to find/train new pokemon if you are gonna play diamond/pearl
