Isnt it sad that all the major companies (esp. the utilities like Mobiles, Phones, broadbands, Banks, etc) have used the "Because of Covid" excuse to really cut down on customer services to the bone?
They all work on computers and central databases and can easily work from home, socially distanced office spaces, using VPN and company provided laptops . Most of them have off shore employees (even cheaper)
And they have all availed furlough money in the bargain, too.
This greedy scandal has gone on for too long, even by the Classic & Famous British standards of extremely poor services and raw deals.
An average phone call to resolve issues is nothing less than 30 minutes of your life, and making us run from pillar to post.
Can it get any worse?
