I am getting random pop ups of the play Store screen advertising Games or Uber etc.

Anyone else already fixed this annoying problem and can share the fix?

try editing your apps on settings and untick "show notifications". or delete the last app you installed see if that helps, if it's only recently started being a problem?

Would you by any chance know if 'Disable notifications' on 'Play store' stop updates for all apps, trying it anyhow

I had that - it was associated with an app that I used for music downloads - once I got rid of the app
the adds stopped showing up. Problem was trying to work out which app was causing the issue...

My partners dad had this problem too. I ended up downloading AVG and doing a scan and it found an app which was installed but, not showing in the list of apps on the applications screen, uninstalled that and all was fine after :).

no bud it shouldn't, certain apps like Google for example won't let you.
