I saved £10.75 on an eBay purchase using the most recent promotion code and had to return the item due to the condition not being accurate based on what the seller listed it as.

I have received the refund, but I also received an email from eBay

The email I received does say it's to let me know how much eBay appreciates me as a customer, however the voucher total is £10.75 and that's the exact amount I spent.

Check your emails and go to My eBay on the eBay website if you have recently returned an item you used a discount code with - I didn't click any links in the email, I did at first think this was a scam but thankfully it wasn't!

Perhaps not wise to share this, it will get abused and pulled.

I get what you mean, just thought it would be useful for people to know …I get what you mean, just thought it would be useful for people to know especially if they're not keeping an eye on emails as much

I understand but it's probably going to do more harm than good. Next time there's a promo on there will be loads of people trying this.
