Possible to split 8GB ISO to put on 2 regular DVDs & then patch them together later? SOLVED

Have a few large ISOs (8GB) that I'd like to make copies of, but don't want to use dual-layer discs. Is there some way of splitting an ISO to fit on regular DVDs and then patching them together again later?

    Thanks

For avi files I use a programme called HJSplit dont know if it works with ISO's?

Google that name and info will come up and its a Freeware I think?

Are they films? you could use dvd shrink to fit onto a normal dvd-5

You could split it with winrar.

Really? And patch together using the same?

As chester said, use winrar, or any zip programe,

Yep you can split with WinRar too and also choose how big the splits can be, I see you just want to save them on DVD? Thought you wanted to play them, so I suggest WinRar aswell as be easier!!

You can even Password protect it! :-D
