Possibly the most boring question on here but...

Anyone here work in a dry cleaners? I have a cashmere sweater that has a white cotton collar, the collar needs cleaning but the cashmere sweater itself is fine really. Will the dry cleaners be able to clean the cotton collar to the extent of getting it back to true starchy white etc, without harming the cashmere around it, or will I get a poor clean on the collar because they are being careful with the cashmere? Thanks!

    = tiny sweater?

A little radical perhaps, but why not ask the dry cleaners?

I am a dry cleaner! does it have a P with a circle around it on the care label, also what colour is the jumper?? they won't be able to do the collar and not the jumper as it goes in a machine not unlike a huge washing machine,we would put a gentle chemical on the collar and usually get good results. we dry clean cashmere all the time and it is fine as long as it is dry cleanable
