Paid some money into my Barclays account at the post office on Saturday morning, but the money is still not showing in my account.

Does anyone know how long this should usually take?

Can you pay money into a barclays account via the PO?

If so guessing it would be 3 working days, i.e tomorrow

Edit: It would appear you can, Learn something new every day lol

Q. How long does it take?

A. If you post a cheque you should allow up to 5 working days from the day the cheque is paid into your account for the money to be available. For cheques, you should allow up to 5 working days for the money to be available. For cheques paid in at a Post Office you should allow up to 6 working days for the money to be available.

For cash paid in at any UK Post Office the money is available immediately if you use your ATM/Debit/Electron card and make the deposit before 5.15pm. If cash is paid in after that time, then the funds will still show on your account immediately, but may not actually credit your account until the following working day.
