I just did a speed test at speedtest.net and was shocked to find that I'm getting more than 5x the speed with Sky than I used to get with AOL!

Post your speeds peeps!

It's fast! More than good enough for everyday usage, I'd have thought.... wish mine was that fast for uploads

That one tells me I'm getting just over 1meg - have tried loads of others and they all say around 7meg... I think I'll stick with speedtest.net but thanks anyway

It's just under 7meg so quite good for what you are supposed to be getting

I used to be on AOL "up to" 8 meg and was only ever getting 1meg, AOL said my wiring was to blame and I'd never get anything faster but I'm getting around 7meg now I've moved to Sky and I'm paying a fraction of the monthly fee!

Reason for the difference in readings is because you are using different speedtest server to test your speed. Each server is located in different location / country, the yellow server is the one closest to your location according to speedtest, the closer the test server the more likely to get an accurate test result.
Ahem!
