Postal order question

Hi everyone ive just recieved a postal order an was just wondering if i need any id to cash it at the post office.

Would my debit card an letters from jobcenter be ok as my only form of id my birth certificate is at me mums an wont get here for a couple days.

If its a crossed PO then it has to clear at a bank like a cheque, if uncrossed then you shouldnt need id, i didnt when i cashed one, either way i have never used id or been asked for it!

I'd take your debit card & letter with your name / address on it just in case to avoid a wasted journey if they do require something

Success just been to post office an although it had me name on they didnt ask for id

Even with name on if uncrossed they have never asked me for id,
I don't think the OP knows if it was crossed or uncrossed .

I just realised,if it was crossed they couldn't have cashed it doh
