postal orders

Im selling something on another site and someone has asked if I would accept a postal order.

Would I get charged when I go to cash this or does it go in my bank account?

    Thanks in advance

cash it at the post office, the sender gets the charges when they buy it

    As good as cash ,

Just dont send the purchase until you've cashed the postal order

just make sure they dont get a crossed postal order as these have to be paid into your bank account.

no you wouldnt get charged , the buyer gets charged when buying it, if they send an uncrossed one you can cash it at the post office but if its crossed you have to put it in your bank , just like a cheque.
