do the cheap ones (eBay ) work?

cpc.farnell.com/tec…945

That's what you need. Got 2 of such for wife and I and each would power an iphone from flat 4X

I have one of these(although frequently on a discount in the region of £22): amazon.co.uk/d/C…100

but for the same price as the one above: amazon.co.uk/Ank…ker

More than happy with the Anker products and have had no issues with them in two years.

thank you

Another Anker Fan here. I've had Anker power banks for 3-4 years now. I've always bought through Amazon, had an issue with the first one I bought not holding charge after about 2 years. Contacted seller and got a full refund, so their customer service is good aswel. It's a win win.

i have preferred aukey to anker. better build and similar support

I can also recommend Anker, I have 2 of them and they have been absolutely faultless..

Anker, Aukey or Teknet - you cant go far wrong with these 3 brands
If you need usb 2.0 or 3.0 then they have ones specific, also see one with highest Output 2A or 4.8A etc
