    And thank you muchly!!!!

Clean lines, corporate colours (keep it minimum though) and a constant sans serif typeface throughout is all you need to know really.
    Shouldn't take too long.
Don't overcomplicate/overcrowd. Less is more. Anything that you don't include remember to include in your notes so that you still cover all points.

    Thanks for the advice!:)

its a bit more than just slides. Slides should contain minimalistic information/text, pictures mainly your audience is going to be listening to you, you don't want them reading the slides - if you've got a tonne of text, they WILL read it and ignore you!

You shoudl start by introducing yourself and what you are planning to acheive and why, then do the rest of your presentation - bear in mind who your audience is, and target it towards them. Then finish off by a quick summary of what you have done.

I use this approach and never fails.

Also slides should be strictly simple and business type only.

May I ask what it is for?

Just to third what Magic_Monkey and Rash have said - the content is far more important than a jazzy master slide.....

Sure, I am nearly finished on a course at uni, and at the end I have to go to panel, to see if my business plan is good enough to get a government grant to go towards setting up the business!
