using a karscher k2 compact had for about 8years or so.
seen mac allister 1.8kw in b and q for £117 I know you can buy the adapters to fit karscher so I can use my snow foam lance and stubby nozzle.

anyone got experience with this washer or stick to Karscher?

    I'd look at Nilfisk. Karcher quality has gone downhill in recent times e.g Karcher lower end machines use plastic pump casings whereas Nilfisk are predominantly metal. If you do go Nilfisk you'll need to buy some adaptors to make your accessories fit. You might also want to look at AVA who have a Karcher fitting. Currently well reviewed and come with 10 or 20 year warranty.
    If you do decide on Karcher try and buy with the longest possible warranty
