    Hidden war on motorists....

BTW, 10% off MOT fee @ Nationwide Autocentre

    ]http//ww…spx

not very well hidden edi, more in your face

    haha

this is because of the new MOT test using computers etc

making it impossible for them to pass your vechile in situations when it maybe shouldnt. like emissions that are recorded on computer

its supossed to be for our benefit however! lmao

Oh excellent :-( better get saving!

Had mine a few weeks ago..a bargain £19.99

    Where from ?!

miles and miles away from where you reside...as my car is only 3 years old I took a chance..cos the problem with these cheap MOT deals is that they are prone to failing your car to get the business for a repair that isn't really necessary.

So really currychops the mot you just got was crap lol

:giggle: Yep, theyll purposly find something wrong with his car :giggle:

Luckly I work with a major motor dealership and get it half price.

The garage don't make this money - they increase the cost of the certificates therefore the garage make the same on each MOT.

There is a lot of setup costs associated with this new system and in order that they can supply garages with the equipment they increase the cost.

Only good thing for motorist is that there is little chance of your car you buy going from a major dealership to a back street garage with a back- hander to issue a mot certificate.

The MOT is kosher saxo...as my car is in as new condition and I treat it with the utmost respect and have only covered 18k miles I thought they'd have real trouble finding something wrong.

Usually I go to Nationwide autocentres as I get a 33% discount and a no pass no fee guarantee..it's a deal they have for CSMA (civil service motoring association) members.

Do you support the Scottish rugby saxo..if so all the best against the Wallabies...I'll be watching.

I didn't realise there was an "approved price" for MOTs. I pay £14.99 (I'm in Plymouth) and have never had to pay more than £10 on top for repairs (this year it was a couple of bulbs etc). Very good deal and good service from them too.
