Price increase for Virgin Broadband

Virgin are increasing their broadband prices from April.

I am 4 months into a years contract; Is their price increase sufficient reason for me to cancel my contract with them?

You should be able to cancel as this was not the contract you agreed to. O2 broadband are putting their prices up next month and many people have been able to cancel their contracts recently so I think you should also be able to, read their terms and conditions if you have the time it should be in there somewhere, good luck!!

You will also have to send back any equipment supplied by them.

Make sure you do as I got stuffed for a bill of around £100 (set top box as well).

I don't know, as I didn't send it I can't remember what the letter said. I can't see them charging if you have a legitimate reason to leave the contract via the T&C's.

Thinking about it I'm fairly sure it said somewhere an engineer would come and remove them but like I said can't remember exactly.
