Printer economy comparison...

Found 26th Sep 2007
Having had my fingers burned on my last two printer purchases, does anyone know of a site where I can compare the economy of printers?

I loved my old Epson but it ate ink, it became too expensive to run.
My next one ( a cheap Lexmark) was almost as bad, but with terrible print quality.

I'm looking for a good, not overly expensive (sub £100) all-in-one, possibly with network capability which will not clean me out in running costs.

Can't give you exact figures but after starting off with HP, moving to Lexmark via Epson and now back to HP, I can safely say that HP's are A LOT cheaper on ink. The Lexmark I had was cheap to buy but went through ink like nobody's business!
HP all the way for me - I bought a £40 all-in-one a few months back and I haven't looked back

Cheers for that... I'll have a look at them

Or you could use a CISS like this one at SVP (they do them for quite a few Epsoms)
