Printing a receipt using Brother QL-560?

Is it possible to print a normal receipt using the Brother QL-560 printer. I know its used for address labels, but was wondering if i could create receipts using a normal receipt paper(without any adhesive).

At the moment we use hand written receipts, do not have a proper POS system yet.

you can buy paper for it i think

Don't think so as i'm pretty sure the original labels have positioning data printed on the back?

I'd buy the sticky rolls and use them instead! £5.50 per roll or £3.80 if you buy 10

Thanks, the paper i use at the moment is 60mm so will i be able to adjust the width in my printer.

I've only had the printer for 1 day so not played around with it too much yet. Bought it purely for address labels but if i could do receipts with it then might buy another one for the shop.

£12.60

Yeah that's a bit too much.

It is not going to be economical to do what you are after, you could use sticky labels and have little paper things with your company name on them, like a mini headed paper, so when you print the receipt, you could stick it onto the headed paper.

Think you might be right. It was just a thought like i said i bought the printer for address labels so i'll still be using it for that purpose.

Thanks for all the replies folks.

good idea (you wouldn't have to change rolls or get a 2nd printer)

buy 10 rolls from this guy (mine arrived today) for £38 delivered

I can get about 400-500 labels out of one roll depending on length used
