Problem with delivery to isle of wight

Found 2nd Oct 2007
yesterday i won an ebay auction for a 42 inch hdtv. it was £510 plus £60 delivery. i paid for it. then this morning i got an email saying that it cant be delivered to the isle of wight because it is "to big"
im pretty sure that £60 would cover delivery
it doesnt cost any more to ship to the isle of wight as it is counted as part of mainland uk.

i was just wondering what anyones view is on this

it doesnt say that they dont deliver to isle of man......

but to be honest the price isnt too good an offer especially being ex display- couple months down line itll stop working.

42" tvs are prone to faults- another £100 u can pick up a brand new one delivered to your door!

Delivery Times

Delivery will be made to the address specified on the initial order. We can deliver products to mainland UK, Isle of Wight and Scottish Isles address from Monday to Friday. (Deliveries to the Isle of Wight and Scottish Isles are at an additional cost).
