problem with play.com order

i placed a order for this memory card: play.com/Mob…tml on the last thursday and today the package came and it had a ipod nano clear plastic case inside. the reciept says mini sd 1gb memory card but inside there is a gear 4 ipod nano case. wat shall i do?

Either keep what you have and sell it and buy the thing you wanted again or just email them and tell them they've sent you the wrong thing...

Probably not worth your while selling it...

I'm quite sure they pay the postage as the mistake was theirs

i just called them and they say send us the item and then when we recieve it we send you back the your item what a complete waste of time!

was your post necessary? just wanted some advice on wat to do before i call them thats all.

It says on their site that they will refund the postage if the return is due to their error.

I would suggest getting a receipt for postage cost from the post office so you have proof of the cost.

They will probably refund the cost once they have received the item,bit of a pain but you should get the money back.

thanks for that. i called them and they said send us the item and well send you you item back and well refund the postage. i just done that and sent it 1st class recorded. the problem isnt that they sent the wrong item its just that i needed the memory card for a mate this week.

Ordered a Shinco portable DVD player from Play.com on 19th Oct and received an email on 22nd Oct that the item has been dispatched by ParcelForce. No sign of the item arriving and had to call Play.com on 26th Oct when I was given a tracking number.

ParcelForce claims no such item is with them and nothing is scheduled for delivery to my address. Play.com is adamant that they did send the item and would like to know what happened to it. Donno whom to blame ... :-(

what are you going to do next? play.com should sort it out because they sent it and if you havnt sighned for it then its not your problem and they should be chasing after parcel force if they really did send it.

Play should send a replacement then claim their losses back from Parcel Force. Play should have invoices/delivery notes etc to prove that they did actually post it!
