Professor Layton Pandora's box/Diabolical box any difference?

Is there any difference in the games apart from the names? Are all the puzzles the same in both, anyone know?

They are the same game, pandoras box is the European name, Diabolical is the US name. Better off getting the UK version, if there is any puzzles with currency for example they will b ein cents and dollars in the US version

They are both the same - even the yank version has pounds for some puzzles - I guess 'cause it is meant to be set in England (even if it does look more French than anything).

i love the way that titles always get dumbed down for Americans.

I don't think it is dumbed down - neither is a direct translation of the Japanese although arguably Diabolical is closer as 'Akuma' can mean darkness or evil. Prior to the announcement of the western version it was being translate as "devil box".
