I'm after a few cases of wine/ prosecco for a wedding. I'm a spirit drinker so don't have a clue.

A quick Google search on the subject would indicate DOCG at the end of the name as being a decent tasting one?

I'm budgeting at around £7-8 a bottle. Tesco currently have 25% off a case of 6 and I've seen a few articles which suggest Aldi Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG £7.99 as being quite good for the price?

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm just after a few cases to keep the women happy at a upcoming event.

Waitrose has a very nice Prosecco at £6.99 at the moment. you could also, perhaps, get £30 off £120 with code EQ1APR30 if you get (free) home delivery before 17th April. There may be other codes but this is the best at the moment.
The Prosecco is this one:

if you are a new customer to Morrisons you can get £5 off an £80 spend too.

Canti is by far best for quality and taste. On offer at Morrisons until 2nd May £6.50 instead of £9

I think it's all a matter of taste, I'm really not a fan of that one. Having said that, at a wedding I wouldn't mind what I was served.

Thanks for all your replies. I went with the Waitrose Prosecco.

Thanks Tomba for that code. I was able to use it in conjunction with some John lewis vouchers. Used Topcashback as well. These could well work out to under £5 a bottle. Delivered. Bargain!

Thanks again.

Not in the south by any chance are you...?

I dont like the stuff myself, but heard that aldi's is good.

Asda has some reduced to £5va bottle

The one Aldi do for £5.99 (orange label) is nice, but the cava in the gold bottle is also very if you want a more dry tipple (same price, bottle "looks" more premium if it's for a wedding).

You're welcome...enjoy the Wedding

I don't like the Aldi prosecco at all, but their cava is nice.

M&S do a nice prosecco.
