ps2 mouse - tech help please!

bought a pc from dell, never got their accessories. to save £££

when it came it had a no ps2 slot for keyboard ( i have brand new ps2 keyboard) only usb.

what shall i do?

you can get a PS2 to USB adapter from your local computer shop, or Staples or similar.

The cheaper small ones will only work if your keyboard supports USB itself - they only change the plug rather than do any converting of the signal. If it's a brand new keyboard then it may do (which one is it? I'm surprised any are still coming with PS/2).

Otherwise you'll want one of the bigger and more expensive converters that contain electronics to change the PS/2 signals into USB signals.
