Im so gutted that i missed the toys r us deal on the ps2 but at the time i didnt think about it! now though im convinced i have to get one for my daughters 9th bday! i thought they broke quite easily, and didnt realised she could watch dvd's though them! Ive only just realsied that how cheap you can get games for them aswell.

I know i couldnt find a new console for £49.99 again quite easilly but does anyone know of where i could get a new one cheap!?

Many thanks Lou

is this a slim version your after? and does it have to be new.. you might get one alot cheaper second hand, even refurbished maybe.

There are a few new and used on ebay. I think places like cash converters and ]Cex have them available too, thought doesnt appear to be any online i have seen them instore.

I also found one here at ]chips

And also in ]gamestation ...

Ive had one for about two years and nothings gone wrong with it, they are great consoles.

Good luck

try a your local car boot i've seen em at £30 boxed

Thanks will have a look!

punkytiptop i would never buy electricals at a carboot sale!

random bootsales i'd agree regular ones are ok. However whats the difference to buying off ebay? technically isn't it the same thing buying electricals of some stranger u never see!

in fact just go to gamestation haha

yes but i know many of people who have bought them and they not worked! i have never bought anything electrical off ebay either for same reason! Gamestation is different as you can take it back with receipt.

If thats how you feel no worries, im not a fan of ebay either. id def check out the shops i mentioned. ... and 'game' if you want to pay more, for a bundle.

You may also be lucky finding a promotion or other offer, like the toyrus one again..its best to keep your eye out.
