Hi, I have been searching for a cable that links directly from my PS3's ethernet port to the BT phone socket on my wall, only to find that this sort of cable does not exist. Can somone please tell me how I can do this or recommend an adaptor? I dont want to go wireless as my PS3 is only about 2 or 3 meters away from the wall phone socket.

Thanks.

You have to plug the cable into your router - assuming you have broadband... if you don't then it will be impossible to play online with the PS3.

rofl.... what about an ethernet to bath plug connector?

Try this but not sure if its the one you want,go to maplins & ask them then search internet for best price

That ain't gonna work, its an adapter for phone system cabling.
Its impossible to just plug into the phone line via rj45 and have online gaming.

You'll need to have broadband and a wired or wireless modem/router to be able to access online gaming, like one of these:
