PS3 Games (and other ideas) for 11 year old

It's my nephew's birthday very soon and I'm yet to buy a present. He's going to be 11. My first thought is PS3 games, he currently plays quite a bit of football games, racing games and (not my choice!) but Call of Duty. I'm trying to think of other ideas for him - I know he's played the Ratchet and Clank games in the past etc.

I tend to always get games so other suggestions also welcome! - I know he likes Hollister and Jack Wills (oh dear).

Kind of need to get it online and probably today/tomorrow because it's his Birthday on Thursday! eek!

Cheers!

books? dvds? has he got loads of clothes? maybe something mum wont buy him or cant afford?..expensive trainers?
take him out for the day....dont know where you live but the snowdome or something like that? iceskating and a meal?

how about a psn card i got my nephew one and he was chuffed to bits as my sister wont let him use her card to buy stuff on there.

Why don't you ask him what he wants,i ask my nephew now he's a bit older,or he usually asks me in advance lol ,he rang me up the other day asking me to lookout for this certain type of Lego on Ebay and then i asked if i could get it him for his Birthday.

Has he got the latest football/racing/COD games?
Little Big Planet 2 is £20 instore at game too.

LB2 is perhaps a decent idea, I know he's got the latest COD and Football, not so sure on racing games.

deb8z - it's a nightmare even getting hold of him! - He's so frequently on holiday or doing after school clubs etc that I rarely get a chance to talk to him. Mum and Dad have been useless for ideas this time round too!

@Plumberman01 - he does read quite a bit actually, perhaps I'll try to get him a couple of books too. Again, I'll be guessing what he already has so I'll probably go a bit obscure!

I got him some cool vans last year which he liked so again perhaps more trainers would be cool - I know at that age I messed mine up well quickly!

Kids are so fickle these days and seem to have so much i thought it'd be easier just to ask him lol

Although if he asked for something that was about a hundred quid, not so good hehe

ModNation racers is good, and dirt cheap now, if he likes Lego, how about Lego Star Wars/Harry Potter/Batman any of those.

Nephew?

Pfft, £20 in a card = Job done.

I'm lucky if I even get a card from my family on any occasion - granted, I'm 23 now, and I used to get stuff as a kid, but money is always good.
