Ps3 Official Bluetooth Headset - Its Rubbish

    Heres why -

-It looks like something from the 80's
    -The battery life is pathetic
-Its far too sensitive, my tv is on very low and it picks up every noise, sending it blaring out of he tv of every poor bugger who doesnt have one.
-The 'mute' beep is ridiculously loud meaning you cant realistically have it on mute in your ear,

All in all, another piece of rubbish gear, two years too late and a waste of money imo.

if you want to keep it on for two hours while it blares every noise of cod5 into your opponents homes then go for it !

I agree, people just assume its good because its the official headset.

    +1

I was using it the other day for the first time after getting it with endwar in the zavvi deal and even after setting the mic down to 1 in the xmb settings the little speaker kept flashing ingame saying i was speaking, even with my speakers turned down very low as it was night. It also constantly falls off my ears if i even slightly move, im trying to get some jabra eargels but i cant find anything suitable atm.

I think it is pretty good myself. Much better than any of the 3rd party headsets I have used, and I have never had a battery life issue with it. The mic does seem pretty sensitive though.

Well compared the battery life of a certain other companies wireless headset..... it doesnt come close, proabably something to do with it using bluetooth

Are there any good alternatives? I was thinking of buying one but they're constantly out of stock.
