Just download the .apk and you have remote play. Just tried it and it works

Rooting of your phone is not needed. A 5ghz router is though to reduce latency.

Thanks a lot for that

I will give it a go after Santa has been.

Thanks for that link Jaystan, I had tried the previous way but couldnt get it working!

This way has worked straight away, connection is dodgy, but thats something I need to look at on my router! Cheers

ooooo... have this on my Z3 Compact, will try on my LG Gpad tonight

You ruddy beauty! should check it first, but I'm so excited! no more forced watching coronation Street. Never mind water boarding, some days it's seriously painful

Got it working on my Gpad, without DS4. Seems a little bit laggy compared to the Z3 Compact works. Looks promising
The Gpad sits in the GCM10 controller mount too, albeit its a bit heavy...

Dammit, won't find my ps4 even after I've done the firewall tinkering. Suspect there's some incorrect NATing going on... Anyone had any luck with the in app settings not failing?

Woooaahh.. Works on the nexus 5, not tried gaming yet, but remote navigation is working. Just needed the correct ip

How do I pair my controller?

I had a similar issue, try pressing X after you turn on the console to select your last used profile - i could connect fine after that

Turned out I wasn't forwarding to the right IP. All connected now, works well but need to unpair the controller from the ps4 to pair it to the phone now which seems to be tricky

I havent quite worked that one out yet.

I downloaded the apk file, but when trying to install it says "there was a problem with parsing the package". Yeah, not passing, but parsing. Anybody know what I am doing wrong.

Never mind ... the app itself is great... thanks jay

I'm convinced that if its unpaired from the ps it could then pair with the phone. Google says pressing ps home button for 15 seconds resets the controller. I'm at work at the minute so cant check it, but just in case theres anyone who wants to try

anyone tried with an Xperia Z1? when the PS4 screen displays on my phone I always have to press the ps button on the controller and when this happens it works for 2 seconds then it disconnects from the PS4, anyone else had that issue?

It's not really designed to work with a DS4 unless you've got a xPeria Z2 or above. There are some games which work really well with just the touchscreen controls, though - I got 100% trophies on Thomas Was Alone that way, and Diablo 3 is just magnificent
