have you tried god of war? i thought that was great

Really epends what kind of games your after Mars.

God Of war is awsome.

Best bet is to go to metacritic and see what the average scores for the games are!

i play all sorts of games thanks will try god of war.

I agree with GOW: Chains of Olympus - my favourite game on any console atm - I also like Space Invaders Extreme on the PSP. A very groovy updated version of a classic game - the lights, music and changing weopons are really fun and extremely addictive!

Space Invaders is surprisingly good, trying to play through it on Extreme at the moment and although it's slow progress I can't seem to keep away.

Patapon is something quite different and deifnitely one of the strongest titles for the platform this year.

Echochrome is good, as is the new psp FFVII (Crisis core).

The little console is finally getting some good games!

Echochrome doesn't suit everyone but I think it's brilliant, I love how it completely screws with your head and is something that is quite different to any other.

Yep, I like Patapon too, altho have only tried it for ten minutes. Have got FFVII too (I think!) , so looking fwd to giving that a go sometime.

Echochrome - just realised that I have this also! Going to try it soon, the reviews suggests it is deceptively sophisticated

Thanks will try them out guys but dont like final fantasy games.

oh, another one I've just been playing which I like a lot, and it seems perfect for the platform - Exit and Exit 2. Very quirky but very cool!

Exit is good, didn't realise there was a sequel.

Also, a lot of people forget about it now, but i "acquired" a copy of it recently - Pursuit Force.
an oldie but a goodie.

Patapon is a lot smarter than it seems, I enjoyed the small demo but as I've played further into I've been impressed how much deeper it is. Firstly you have the rpg side where you choose which patapons and what items to give them (armour, weapons etc.), you've obviously got the pata-pata-pata-pon/pon-pon-pata-pon sequences but this also works at a higher level as well with advance-advance-advance-attack-attack-defened-attack etc. When fighting bosses they similarly have these sequences and you have to take watch them carefully when using your own strategy - if the timing of your attacks are out then you'll get pummelled by attacks and knocked out of sequence. However on the other hand if you defend too often you'll give the boss the upperhand and again your patapons will start to quickly fall. However if you manage to get the timing of your attacks and defences just right you can quickly chew through the boss by instead knocking him out of sequence, forcing him to try and defend and letting you attack all the more.

I still like Loco Roco and the 2nd one's out soon i think.

I have been playing some older games recently.
