    Public Referendum ????

With today’s telecommunication capabilities, economic climate and MPs excessive expenses would it be cost effective for the House’s of Commons & Lords and Parliament to conduct government issue’s via online video conferencing.

This would have the added advantage of MPs always being available in their respective constituency, negate the need for travel (which results in expenses plus costly overnight accommodation) and abolishing the need for second house’s or flats.

    Public Referendum .... ????

No.......because whenever the government installs some new system or hardware etc it all goes wrong. Therefore would end up costing millions and they'd just use it for chat roulette

Why have MP's at all, we could have an online vote for everything

there are far too many mps to make videoconferencing a viable option
