Purchase AA cover online after cancelling

Has anyone had any experience of purchasing AA breakdown cover online after cancelling an existing policy?

Got my renewal of £100 higher, and they wouldn't budge when called so cancelled the policy. Just wondering if I purchase online again do they cancel it? The pages allows me to go through to payment and does not give any errors etc after entering my details.

I assume it's all automated so I'd just go for it.

Id suggest checking the small print for the term "New customers only"

Believe Me the Service is not that personal. Nobody cares a jot! Just another number. You may find if You search around more that You will get a better deal n store vouchers as well.

I never renew. Every year I set up a new one (Green Flag 3 years in a row) CashBack confirmed too!

I use autoaid, last year paid £37 for 15 months full cover, including breakdown and home start. The only difference is you have to pay breakdown fee to whoever comes out and get reimbursed from autoaid.

As long as you have cancelled renewal, you become a new customer, these companies all treat existing customers like mugs.

Dont forget that there is usually generous cashback offers with AA RAC and others with topcashback and quidco. I got 40 quid back when joining the RAC this year.... Never stay there is always a cheaper deal to cancel and join back up or go elsewhere.....
