Hi I'm after a quadcopter for my son, he wants one with a camera, I haven't got a clue what specs to look for. I'm after one around the £50 mark. Any info would be much appreciated.

indoor (with limited outdoor use) then a hubsan x4 H107c - about £30. Outdoor (but still limited use due to budget) then a Syma X5 variant. You might just scrape under the budget with one of the real time video ones that use a smartphone for a screen (though i've no experience on how good they are).

It's prob worth mentioning there are dozens of clones out there, and clones of clones. It's not an issue to me, just make sure what you buy comes from somewhere reputable and you can get spares - it will crash and need new parts.

I'll second capriboycraig - Hubsan X4 great for indoors and some outdoor safe flying.

Syma, one of the best DJI Phantom Clones out there is the Syma X8 but the Syma X5 is great for beginners.

I also recommend the Syma X5C-1.
