michelin are the best but also the most expensive.
there are lots of middle of the road tyres that would suit the car, without the cost.
just make sure you get at least the speed rating tyre that is made for the car , or insurance could be void in event of a accident!!!

try kwik fit and pay online for a discount

Kwik Fit have Continental premium contact 2 at a good price, £312 for 4 fitted with new valves and tracking.

The last set of Continentals i had lasted 45k (they were the ecocontacts)

If you have a costco near you, costco.co.uk/ , you have to pay to become a member, but i got my 195/55R15 Michelin Primacy HP tyres in there for £85 each all fitted.

I suggest Continental Premium Contact 2s or Vredestein Sportrac 3s, both excellent tyres.

I get mine from a scrap yard, £5 or £10.
Sometimes I get top of the range ones.

Here £87 for 2 fitted made in Poland by Continental. I use them myself last 20k with 'blokes' driving.

I'd recommend ]Camskill they deliver them and you get them fitted yourself at a local garage. works out much cheaper.

Was an item a few weeks ago on the bbc lunch time show "working lunch" about tyres, try,,

    blackcircles.com/

never used them but might be woth a look...

I've got some Falken FK452s on my car at the moment which are almost as good as the Pirelli Pzero Rossos that they replaced nd get excellent reviews.

£68 delivered each from camskill or £181 each for the pirellis at Kwikfit.

I've used blackcircles too, and they are very good but the garage I had them fitted at said they'd only charge me £10 a tyre for fitting, valve and balancing, so camskill would have worked out cheaper and the garage said I could have the tyres delivered straight to them.

Are you going to be thrashing it about? Thus not bothered about tyre wear.

Buy some cheaper ones and just replace them more often. A brand new mid-range tyre will out perform a worn but legal high performance one.

reviews i've read say that Vredestein Sportrac3 is the best to get and on a h speed rating comes to £206 delivered

might be the way to go

Check the speed rating on the tyres you have, mine are a W rating, and you are supposed to replace the same rating

and if you use a "lower" speed rating you can invalidate the insurance on your car.........
