its so light my scale cant weight it, its only a couple of tops, its too late to go to the post office, just wondering if 2 or 3 1st class stamps would be enough to shove it in the letter box :?

should be more than enough if under 100g - a small packet only costs £1.14 1st class

If the package is less than 25mm thick it is classed as a large letter and as long as the packet is less than a kilo in weight will cost 78 pence. If it is thicker than 25mm it is classed as a packet and you will need to enter your packet details into the postage finder on Royal Mails website.
If they are a good friend just stick a single stamp on it and let them pay the excess postage plus a £1.00 surcharge.:whistling:

and a large letter is only 52p

I think 4 first class stamps will be more than enough if it's so light your scales won't weight it! I think it might be thicker than a large letter but I think this would be enough for a first class packet
