    Quick N96 question

I was just wondering about the Nokia N96 TV functionality. How does it work exactly? What channels can you actually watch and is this based on a DVB signal?

I was just wondering whether it costs to watch basically?

Has anyone given it a go yet?

    very simple answer to this

    NONE whatsoever.
The tv standard is baded on DVB-H standard which is not in use in the UK, although it is being licenced soon
NONE of the tv companies are transmitting in this format

Haha what a joke! They make me laugh how they mention these features which cant even be used on launch! I guess its for the future

i know it's so mean. You'd get it expecting all these wonderful things!:x

I was going to buy one until I found out about this

someone will work a hack surely for it to pick up standard freeview.............????

It works in most other countries just not here, with the TV feature not working in UK the N96 is not much different to the N95 8gb for the average user. Apart from the obvious memory increase and the way it looks, but I dont think that justifies paying £200 extra for the N96 rather than the n95 8gb.

No, I have an N95 8gb and have only used 1 gb of memory lol

What a waste the upgrade would be!
