Quick question about posting clothes and royal mail..

Just a quickie please...if I am posting a couple of items of childs clothing in a postal bag will it be classed as a packet or a parcel? Just wondering what to charge postage..

it will be either large letter or packet ie parcel

Large letter is up to 25mm in thickness i think

So worst case scenario it will be a packet?? Didn't know if there was a seperate charge for a parcel?

I would of thought packet. You could get away with large letter if they are not big and flat lol. You need to get one of the royal mail letter/parcel gauges so you can fit the parcels through the gaps and it tells you what they can go as (depending on what gap they fit through). The royal mail web site should also help with sizes and weights. I normally weigh my items on the kitchen scales in grams.
