Hi. Just wondering if using Quico is actually worth it and is it safe? It just seems a liitle too good to be true! Cheers!

totally safe, and definitely worth it.
You won't regret it (except you might find you buy more things than usual now!!!)

Thanks! I'll give it a go.

Made £303 on it in the last 6 months on stuff i would have bought anyway but not got cashback for.. mobile phone and broadband contracts plus consoles from game etc.. is well well worth it!

good for most purchases and the amounts add up over time, even if they seem small individually. I have never had any concerns over safety.

especially good for car, house insurances etc

I got over £100 in cash back last year from these.

i was unsure I must admit. Been with quidco two years now and saved well over £400. This was all from stores where I was purchasing from anyway.

£800+ in the last year!

It is safe, but its not the only cashback site and its not the best. There are others which offer the same percentages but have no yearly fee and better support. I would recommend topcashback

silly question lol, but, i have just joined quidco but when something says 3% quidco, how do you get it? do you buy through the quidco site or through the normal websites

You have to go via quidco, as it uses cookies to track. After that, it's all automatic, and they pay you straight into your bank account after x months.

The best thing to do is use 2 or 3 sites to maximise your cash back.
Use this link to compare which sites are best for which supplier/website.

I use 3 cash back sites and have accumulated £1725 in the past 18 months, just from buying products, flights, mobile phone contracts, car & house insurance which I would have bought anyway!

Do the usual comparisons for your car/house insurance to find the best price/company
Then find out which cash back site to use
and then find the best compromise.

eg best insurance quote £100 - cash back £20 = £80 spent
second best insurance quote £110 - cash back £40 = £70 spent

Once you get into the habit it only takes a couple of minutes to do and as you can see we've saved loads.

Hope this helps

put it in favourites - it is brilliant

Have used Quidco since Jan 08 and up till now I have had no problems.
In fact I am delighted at saving £247.00 manly on two car insurance 2 x £75 cashback (bmw & golf
£260 for both) and home insurance a total saving from last year of £150.00 including £50 cashback

I can only speak as I find and if you are prepared to set yourself up and remember to go
through Quidco each time you want to purchase you will make savings.

I've been with Quidco for about a year. I don't spend much on the net, but when i get insurance - life/ car/ home etc I always go through Quidco. Have got back about £200 so far.

Got a contract on EE and it was quite appealing because of the £70 cashback. Initially i received a message saying that cashback was tracked but later on the status was saying declined. Contract is still on and i didn t receive a particular reason for the decline.
So Quidco cashback didn t worked for me so it s the last time i am using it. One by one....this is how a business loses trust...one by one ....

Why open an 8 year old thread even the Op hasn't been seen for 6 years! It works for 8 years and probably longer. some cash back won't get paid out but most of the time it will but you have to follow the delete cookies rule and you will earn cash back well over 2k here and plant like it.
