    quitting smoking?

A few months ago I asked if anyone has used champix to quit smoking well now I have and gone from 20 a day for the last 15 years to totally smoke free for the last 8 days. Theses tablets have totally removed the craving.
I highly recommend them as before I couldn't even go 2 hours without a ciggy.
Anyone else think they are amazing ?

They dont work for everybody my neighbour had to stop it made her so sick. But well done for quitting.

well done for quitting-keep it up-personally think the possible side effects of champix are very scary, but great if they suit you.

    well done you

I tried to quit a while back, unfortunately i started again after 3 months due to a very stressful event.

I'm back on the wagon and have been cig free for almost a month

Was on 20 a day at least, really is fantastic going for some small bits of shopping in Sainsburys and it coming to below £10.. Rather than above due to the cigs.

    Well done mate

i used the older ones, cant remember what they where called, but had to give them up after 10 days due to bad side effects, but did give up for a few months, have given up loads of times, the last time i just went for it, didn't use anything and managed 3 months, but always end up back on them, so well done

I went to an Allan Carr seminar on 28th august and when I left I stopped, cant believe it,dont even miss it,cost £230 but worth every penny,30 yrs at 20 a day to nothin its great

i read Allan Carr book and audio book and dvd, dont even know how long ive given up for now got to be about 8 months

I couldnt use patches as they made me vomit, so went without anything and been smoke free for over 9 months.

If it works for you then carry on, well done!

Well done, nearly six months for me now.

    Keep it up

Congrats op. Dunno why anyone starts though, was never even remotely tempted by peer group pressure when I was young.
