So, in total he's gained £59,000 and a total of 3 years detention of which he'll have served 18 months in total by the end.

£59,000 divided by 18 = £3278 per month wages.

Grand Total = Crime DOES pay. :-(

Rough calculation in my head........hope it was right. They rarely get back anything either, plus the Home Office Prison i used to work in payed £14 a week whether they worked or not plus they were allowed family to send in treats. Not to mention the fact they all had a TV, Music Centre & Playstation in their cells. :x

Hence, an Officers life was not for me..........they were better off than i was.

Quite right solar! after a few years in that 4 star accomodation he will be back out and no doubt do it again..I think its an addiction to money rather than frauding itself. Someone who likes to have lots of 50s in there wallet.

It says that his barrister asked for his age (20), and that he has 'lower than average intelligence' to be taken into account - honestly I wouldn't say that makes any difference at all, he still did what he did and everyone should be treated the same.

Lower than average or not, he is still a thieving scumbag.

Lower than average well he's from wales! LOL

Before you all start so am I!

Imagine how much you could make with above average intelligence ^_^

No he would have moved out of wales!:w00t:

Banned

crime does pay and it pays well

LMAO :giggle:

Shouldn't all his assets be taken as being gained from crime? Over the 18 months I'm sure he payed his rent or mortgage with the money he stole? And how does he get put in a young offenders institute when he's 20?
