Rakuten Order cancelled..?

Just before the £5 off code ended at Rakuten I placed an order for a CD, the merchant was Base. After waiting nearly 2 weeks for it they sent me an email saying that my order had been cancelled due to being out of stock. It wasn't out of stock still isn't now. I have lost my £5 discount & waited for 2 weeks for nothing.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I ordered with Base through Rakuten, both items arrived, they're usually very good. Strange they kept you waiting for so long and then cancelled.

I've been waiting 3 weeks for gta from Base. Only today can it be declared lost in the post!

Did you use a voucher? I've lost mine now. Have messaged Rakuten but no reply yet. Will see what happens... :\

If they give me the voucher back, I'll forvige them! If not, I don't think I'd want to order from them again. Especially near Christmas.

This happened with the SuperPoints one with me at the turn of this year...and they were credited back. Do you have a balance there?

I would hope Rakuten will be good about it!

My points balance is 0, didn't use any points against the purchase. Just a discount code.

I did I was told I would have to wait 14 days for a replacement which was yesterday so I called them as they're terrible for replying to emails. I suppose it's ratuken that'll deal with the voucher and not Base as Base said it would take longer for me to get a refund than a replacement game as I'd used a code.

Called them about my cancelled order and lost voucher today, They were no help whatsoever. Didn't take responsability for anything. Definitely won't be ordering from Rakuten again, Especially near Christmas.

The item I ordered is still in stock now! It's been in stock since I placed my order. In fact, they have more now. Terrible service....
