What the hell does this mean? in simpleton terms please...

Now even greater value as it is valid for 2 calendar days, not just one.
More flexibility - whilst only valid for the booked departure time we will, at no extra charge, allocate you a space on the next available shuttle if you arrive at Check-In within 2 hours of your booked departure time

If you turn up early then you might be able to get on the first shuttle going, rather than your alloted one.

if you arrive very early and their is a train before your booked one with a free space on you can go on that for nowt rather than waiting

Basically i am trying to find out the best for us, out of these two options?

depends on how long you are staying for/your flexibility with travel times etc

You need the day/overnight. You can pay for this with Tesco clubcard vouchers if you have them. £10 worth of Clubcard vouchers for £40 of Eurotunnel vouchers. You can pay any balance by card/cheque.

Should add that if you use their website to book, it should give you the options for when you want to travel.
