    reasonably priced netbook

having read other threads the Acer Aspire One A150L seems to be the best value for money on play.com:

    play.com/PC/…tml

but a 3 hour battery life is just not good enough, how cheap can i get a 6 cell battery and is is just a case of plugging it in?
or are there any cheap netbooks of the same spec with a superior battery life?

any help will be much appreciated!!!

I don't think you will really get much better battery life despite what the manufactorers say. Mine is supposed to last around four hours, but I only get about two and a half. It all depends what you are doing with it at the time.

    Personally id go for this

    ]http//ww…QV2

1Gb of memory instead of 512mb from play.

Makes the world of difference on ours for not much more money, and saves stripping most of the netbook down to increase the memory later on

Ebay probably cheapest for battery but beware of cheap ones cause their not much better.
