Paypal gift is safe for the seller. The buyer paying by gift is assuming the risk. Usually.

However!

If the Paypal account is linked to a credit card, the buyer can chargeback through their credit card company and Paypal will pull the funds. So gift isn't 100% safe.

I wouldn't personally use PayPal gift as as far as I know you're not covered. Many people ( sellers) choose this option so they don't pay PayPal fees. PayPal is usually safe enough but you need to select paying for goods.

What's the safest though

So 30 seconds on google shows you can only send or receive money via facebook if you have your account linked to a debit card issued by a US bank - I assume you don't so that options out.

I was giving his options

There are other payment options that exist if you didn't know

A quick google search brings up hundreds

Ive been stung with PayPal and a USA Buyer, Received Funds via PayPal, sent item via Recorded Royal Mail to USA, which ended up sitting at his Local Collection point as he wasn't available for delivery, PayPal refunded him as there was no proof of delivery on the system, the day he got hes refund was the same day he picked up the item.

PayPal. gift leaves u covered but not him.iys him technically that's making the risk not you. western union is good also but I wouldn't release any goods until you have claimed

as long as you can prove you have sent something to the confirmed address he can pay you via 'goods' tab and you still should be safe

safest is bank transfer

Bank transfer only!

Bank transfer only!

This is the only way I would even consider it, then again if I was the buyer I would tell you to jump on your bike for suggesting it. You are relying on the guy being genuine and honest, if he's not you could end up with no product and no money. Much too easy to scam sellers these days

Either bank transfer or western union. Don't be tempted into using Paypal or anything else if the buyer threatens to walk away.

BT or western union only...as soon as payment is cleared you send him item...good luck

Where are u based?
