Recommedations for a hotel in the Lake District!

Thinking of going to the Lake District this weekend and looking for a hotel. Only requirements is that it's 4/5* (or an extremely nice 3*!) and HAS to have a pool!
    Thanks!

What's that one the Platts were staying at ?

try 21thelakes you get your own hot tub either in on the balcony or jacuzzi in the room all rooms are themed they also have a sister hotel which has fun themed rooms i.e flinstones, circus etc but i highly recommend 21 the lakes its not a hotel like the hyatt or hilton but a small quaint hotel/bb but fab hosts and lovely rooms

This looks lovely but I can't give you a first hand recommendation for it as I have never stayed there.

Actually looks like they don't have vacancies anyway...might be nice to keep in mind for the future.

That looks really good and no where near as expensive as it looks! Have some rep!

This looks lovely windermereboutiquehotel.co.uk/cat…oms and looks like they have one room free for this weekend, and surprisingly reasonably priced too I thought.

I've just emailed them as they're fully booked for this weekend but was planning on cancelling another hotel booking in the future and going there instead as it looks wonderful!! Thanks Keli, sickly and Bella!

I'd love to stay at one of those hotels in the future.....they do look very nice indeed...Hope you find somewhere

Great hotel, full beauty treatments, pool, hot tub etc. It is right on Derwentwater. Used to be called with Swiss Lodore Hotel, not sure of the name now. Lovely place. More traditional than trendy

lol, forget about star ratings, it only refers to the facilities they have not the quality of service, go by reviews and reputation

This is very nice and has a Michelin star, but expensive - holbeckghyll.com/
We spent our 25th anniversary there.
Actually thinking about it, it has a spa but I'm not sure it has a pool.
