Found 19th Sep 2007
As per title above: I am looking for a cheapish (no more than £30) dvd player, can anybody recommend a half decent one that will play (dvd-r mainly) faultlessly?? Doesn't need divx or any fancy inputs.

upscales as well HDMI. (if you have a LCD or Plasma).

Worth putting the £5 extra.

Used to be a phillips one on Amazon, but price has gone back up.

The Durabrand ones from Asda are OK, check on ]Videohelp

£11.97 is the lowest I can find, although I vaguely remember Asda selling one at £9.99

Thanks for these, I will take a look at the Currys model and also the Asda range when I am in town over the weekend (unfortunately don't have a Tesco nearby).
