Recommendation of a laptop please

I'm trying to get my daughter a Laptop but really don't know what I'm looking at for what she wants it for....
She wants a touchscreen that's 2 in 1 so she can draw on it...and hopefully comes with the pen.
But also she wants to play overwatch and sims 4 on it too.
Anyone recommend any particular ones? or can you point me in the right direction of what specs to look for?
Thankyou.

Also forgot to say budget is £650..if that's possible?
you are asking for too many functionality from one product. you will struggle.

laptops are not designed for drawings on the screen with a pen. the best product for that would be a tablet. i think the microsoft surface allows a pen but they are very expensive and i don't know how good the drawing functionality of the surface is.

with regard to the games, i am not up on games so someone else may be able to advise you on the laptop that has the required specs for this.
I'll try and keep this short for you as I appreciate you may not have a great understanding of tech!

First things first, is brand others might disagree but from experience HP and Dell are the best of the bunch in terms of build quality and warranty support.

Within your budget range I've found two devices bang on your budget from both Dell and HP please note pricing might be better from different sites, but it looks like they have a £50 off laptops code running at the moment. I am in no way endorsing purchasing from PC world but if you look else where its impereative you match the specs!

First is the dell, it features the latest 10th Gen i5 and its a solid chip with low power consumption and great compute performance

The HP has a different processor which again is very efficient, and has decent graphics performance

The HP is a more premium device it has better speakers, looks better (in my opinion) the chip in this machine better for gaming so will run sims a lot better than the othet laptop. The battery in this laptop is also a lot better than the dell And is lighter to carry around

The Dell is a decent machine and intel processors are often better for daily compute tasks about (7%) but will be slower when running games compared to the hp, the battery life will also be a lot worse but the screen is slighty bigger at 14inches.

Both these systems have 8gb of ram and a 256gb SSD which is sufficient for a laptop in this price range.

In regards to pens they can be purchased directly from HP or Dell for about £40 respectively.

Excuse my formatting I typed this on my phone! I hope this helps, please ask any questions!!

Thankyou so much for all the info..it helps so much.. I'm leaning more towards the Hp one. I did a Google search for it to compare pricing and saw this one on hp website.. Not exactly the same and bigger screen.. Is it better or worse as similar price and a lot of specs matching..

Their website is down for maintenance for me
Damn it is for me too now lol
It's working off and on for me now

Those are the specs for this hp envy...

Actually looking at the specs I think the ryzen 5 is older version at 2500..so your one is probably the better of the 2 if my brain has worked that out correctly.
In all fairness there wont be a lot in it. The newer chip will give the edge however that one in the screenshot is 15inches rather than 13inches.

Its worth considering that one if you'd like a bigger device, it has a lot more bulk stoarage but a lot less fast storage if that makes sense.

If you can find that one cheaper it might be worth considering! And it comes with a pen..

May I ask is this literally going to be used for sims and drawing or school work, uni lectures? etc
She'll be drawing on it.. Just hobby drawing, nothing professional or for work.. .. And playing sims 4 and overwatch.. Most other gaming she does on one of the gaming consoles we have.. But she likes doing the sims 4 and overwatch on the laptop...she has those downloaded from origin/blizzard... plus it'll be used for also all the regular internet/YouTube stuff.

The choice is yours, if you look at that orginal link it looks like theres an offer for £50 off from PC world.

Overwatch can be pretty demanding but will run in full hd with some settings lowered. And the newer one does perform better! How ever the newer one has less storage so that is worth considering
