    Banned
Hi, washing machine is starting to mae some not so good noises and i dont intend spending money on getting it looked at as i have hated the thing ever since i had it, about 6 years. It is a hotpont and dont want another hotpoint, so any recommendations on a good make and model would be good

These are great but I think you are talking way over £500 now !

i paid nearly £500 for this hotpoint 6 years ago and it has been cack since the day i got it, washing comes out refreshed rather than washed, the noise it makes is horrendous, so am happy to be rid, but think £400 - £500 is gonna be my limit at a push

cant fault John Lewis for their own brand, (including free 3 year guarantee), and their customer service is second to none in my experience. Also includes free delivery and I am sure there are some vouchercodes on here somewhere too!

also should have added all other things in kitchen is in hotpoints graphite silver, so although not gonna get the same would really prefer some kind of silver

yes I saw that Emasu! very wierd but in a strange way I kinda like it! :?

i bought hotpoint last year and loved it, but tip for you comet often have washing machines cheaper online than instore or vice versa and also online the delivery is cheaper . Insote flat rate but online varies from appliance to appliance. I was spending £1600 plus on new dryer, washing machine, cooker and frideg freezer i got it knock down to about 1327 delivered by going to the el cheapo places down the road gettting the model and price written on piece paper and speaking directly to store manager in comet who happened to be on shop floor. Was so pleased as big chains dont usually budge and some of their prices were already very competitive.
