Quick question, I have a galaxy s7 edge with 18 month contract left to run, I am trying to get away from contract phones and can sell my S7edge for nearly what my contract device plan buy out is, I would still have to keep the airtime part of the contract (£13pm) but that is reasonable and I don't mind paying that, I would be better off to the tune of £15/20 per month after I bought a Redmi note or something similar if you deduct what I've paid extra to pay off my device plan and buy a SIM free phone - so my question is... Am I likely to be dissapointed with this type of phone when compared to an s7 edge? Of course I know there is a huge difference in price so should expect some compromise but will I be left cursing the decison to get rid of my flagship smartphone for a moderate saving per month? Not to mention the hassle of buying a new one and selling the old one

I don't think u would be disappointed I moved from iPhone 5s to smart ultra 6 n was far happier but remember the band 20 issue xiaomi phones don't work on o2 n three for 4g in UK so I heard

Not all xiaomi phones have the band 20 missing.
Recently it's finally been included, only very recently admittedly

That's right. There are a number of sellers on AliExpress. Cheapest in gold is about £130 and about £140 in grey for 32gb/3gb ram.

There should be the new range of Xiaomis out at the end of the month (Redmi 4, Note 4 ect), some with out to 128 gig of memory, 5.7 inch screen and, I'm told, one with a curved screen??? Even if none of that is for you, the price of the older models 'should' fall some. So it might be worth waiting a couple weeks. . .
