    Registering for ebay

Im trying to register for an ebay account, as part of the process it asks for a phone number.

It states it should be in the format "(020) 1234567"

I have tried using my mobile number in various formats (+44, 044 44) etc but it keeps telling me its not valid. Any ideas?

remove the 44 and put a 0 in front of the rest of the numbers should sort it out, it should be 10 digits then

Think it has to be a landline doesnt it? not sure, ages since i registered - maybe that was just for selling or something else!
